Drum roll please…
The answer is not quite yet.
What we mean by this is that although we cannot announce a more specific date,
we can say that we’re getting closer to our goal.
After much thought, the HCM board has decided to downsize our project by moving our space to a smaller area. We are searching for a 4,000 square foot space that is finished and is equipped with a handicapp bathroom. This will cut our building improvements by almost $100,000. As we work out the details of the cost, we are confident that we are getting closer to a resolution. Once the construction details are ironed out, we can work towards our Occupancy permit. We are closely working with the local building inspector to make sure we follow all safety requirements and regulations to ensure a safe environment of play.
So we ask you, HCM friends, join us in our efforts to open.

If you’d like to help, but don’t have the money to put up matching funds as part of your employee giving program at work, consider recommending us to your company’s Corporate Giving program or Foundation.
